Legomics has developed a novel enzymatic method to manufacture accurate, full gene-length DNA within hours—a process that typically takes weeks.

The technology uses a single enzyme and redundant DNA building blocks, enabling integration into an instrument that functions much like a printer: a researcher uploads a DNA sequence and receives the synthesized gene in hours. Reagents, enzyme, and DNA building blocks can be supplied via cartridges.
